How to Use Gel Wax Melts?
Gel melts are so easy to use.
Simply remove the wax from the container and place it in the dish of your burner. We recommend using half a pot at a time with a 4 hour tealight to get the strongest scent throw if you aren’t using an electric wax melter. This may vary depending on the cup size of your burner. You can cut the wax into pieces with a pair of scissors or break the wax up with your fingers. (Don’t forget to give your hands a little wash after and no fear - our fragrances are non toxic and skin safe).
Each 40g pot will provide up to 45 hours of burn time (this is based on room size and other conditions) and can be used in both a ceramic or electric burner.
We recommend flipping the gel melt every 4 hours to allow the scent to disburse evenly. Simply wait for the wax to cool to room temperature then peel the wax out.
Keep out of reach of children and pets and never leave your burner unattended while lit.
When stored in a cool place, gel wax melts have a shelf life of up to 12 months.
WHAT IS GEL WAX MADE FROM?
Gel wax is a remarkable product with its unique rubbery texture and transparent appearance. Unlike traditional waxes such as paraffin or soy, gel wax has a higher melting point, allowing it to burn for twice as long, making it a fantastic value for your money. What's more, gel wax is vegan-friendly, free from animal products. When it comes to filling your space with delightful scents, gel wax melts, also known as jelly wax melts, offer an affordable way to create an incredible aroma for less. So go ahead and indulge in the wonderful world of gel wax while enjoying the satisfaction of saving a little extra cash.
If you have been looking into gel wax melts you might be wondering how long do gel wax melts last? Similar to candles and other types of wax melts, the answer depends on a few factors. How the gel melts are made, the quality of the gel wax and oil used, and how the melts are stored. All these things play a big part in the length of burn time you will get with when making gel wax melts.
Burn time means the amount of time your gel wax melt (jelly melt) will burn before it stops producing a scent. We ensure our melts are made at the optimal temperature to ensure the minimal amount of scent is lost in the production process. We only source the highest quality of gel wax and gel wax fragrance oil to ensure our gel melts produce the strongest scent. Gel melts are then stored in a cool place waiting to be shipped out to our happy customers.
With one of our 40g pots you can expect our gel melts to last on average 45 hours. Again, that burn time is dependent on the factors mentioned earlier.
