The waxy texture of Jojoba Oil forms a protective barrier over dry or chapped lips to lock in moisture and leave them feeling soft and smooth– even in the chilliest of weather conditions!

Shea butter is a natural emollient, which means it can help to soften the skin. This is especially beneficial for lips that are dry, rough, or cracked. The fatty acids in shea butter can help to nourish and moisturize the skin, leaving your lips feeling soft and supple.

Cocoa butter is an emollient that is a great source of natural antioxidants. It adds a protective hydrating layer to lips, helping protect them from extreme temperatures and indoor heat that can leave your lips dried out.

Castor Oil is rich in monounsaturated fatty acid ricinoleic acid, a known humectant. Humectants help retain skin moisture by preventing water loss. Promoting hydration.

Vitamin E has humectant properties that hydrate, and emollient properties, which support the skin barrier. It can also help blood circulation, speed up cell generation and make the lips smoother, plumper and softer.

Sunflower Wax has natural moisturising and protective properties

Lip balms should be stored in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Exposure to high temperatures can cause the balm to melt, alter its texture, and potentially reduce its effectiveness.

Moisture can degrade the quality of lip balms. Therefore, it's important to keep them away from humid environments, such as bathrooms or steamy areas.

Make sure to tightly seal the container after each use. This helps prevent air and moisture from entering and keeps the lip balm fresh and hygienic.

HOW OFTEN SHOULD I APPLY LIIP BALM?
The frequency of application can vary depending on your needs and the condition of your lips. Generally, it is recommended to apply lip balm as needed throughout the day, especially when your lips feel dry or chapped.

CAN I USE LIP BALM UNDER MY LIPSTICK?
Yes, it can be used as a base before applying lipstick. It helps to moisturise the lips and create a smooth surface for lipstick application. Allow our lip balm to absorb for a few minutes before applying the lipstick.

SHIPPING

Orders will typically leave our studio within 2 to 3 business days from the order date, although in some cases, unforeseen circumstances may cause a delay.

To obtain the most up-to-date information on estimated dispatch dates, please refer to the product pages, which we regularly update. If you are purchasing a gift or require the order by a specific date, we recommend checking the estimated dispatch date before placing your order.

We ship twice a day, Monday to Friday. Our courier packages are collected from our studio at 7:30 am and 4:30 pm on the same day. Once your order has been booked onto the courier, we will promptly send you a tracking number via email. While we will typically use NZ Post to ship all orders, we reserve the right to use any carrier.

Upon booking your order, we will send you a shipping confirmation email, which will include tracking information. We will also forward any delivery messages we receive to the courier driver via the delivery notes. Please note that we cannot guarantee that the drivers will act on written requests, as we do not have control over their actions.

In addition, please note that rural deliveries may take longer to be delivered, typically adding an extra 1-2 days to the delivery time frame. As such, we recommend allowing for additional time when placing orders to rural addresses.

Please ensure that you carefully check your shipping address when placing your order, as orders are printed and sent using the details that the customer has entered. If you notice any errors in your shipping address, please contact us as soon as possible to make corrections before your order is shipped.

RETURNS/REFUNDS

At Melt my Heart, we take pride in producing handcrafted products that are unique and may have slight variations between batches and individual items.

If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may be eligible for a refund if the product is returned within 14 days of receiving your order. To qualify for a refund, the item must be in new and unused condition, with all original packaging and labels attached.

Please note that if you are returning the product due to a change of mind, such as not liking the scents you have chosen, the return postage costs will be your responsibility. However, if the items are defective, such as a lack of scent on inspection or due to breakage during transit, we will refund the return postage costs.

We want you to be aware that a minority of people may be less susceptible to some scents, and we cannot guarantee that all scents will suit everyone.

If you are eligible for a refund, you may choose to receive a refund to your original payment method or a store credit can be issued. Please let us know your preference when you initiate the return process.
